Regional Championships take place annually in each of the five NSCA Regions. The NSCA Northeast Region includes the states of ME, VT, NH, MA, CT,RI, NY, PA, NJ, MD, DE, OH, WV and VA.

The Pennsylvania State Trap shoot is one of the largest Trapshooting Championships in the United States. One of the favorite highlights for trapshooters is the Krieghoff Challenge held on June 19th during this year's event. Shooters who post a score ending in one of the two numbers drawn at random enter into a shoot-off for a Krieghoff Trap Special Combo shotgun. Come on out and shoot to win!

The Ohio State Trapshooting tournament is one of the largest trapshooting events in the country with as many as 1,500 shooters from more than 30 states competing for money, big-ticket prizes and bragging rights. The Grand American World Trapshooting Championships, annually held in Sparta, IL at the World Shooting & Recreational Complex, is the largest shooting event of its kind. Spanning several days with more than 20 events shooters from all over the globe come to compete in hopes of claiming one of the available prestigious titles such as “Clay Target Champion”. The 2026 NSCA U.S. Open is one of the most prestigious events in sporting clays and this year and Game Unlimited will be host to the NSCA, competitors, and the entire shooting community in their spectacular facility. ​

The 2026 Westy Hogan Trap Shooting Championship, held each September at the Pennsylvania State Shotgunning Association (PSSA) Shooting Complex in Elysburg, PA, is one of the last prominent trapshooting events for the year attracting top shooters nationwide.

The NSCA National Sporting Clays Championship, held annually at the National Shooting Complex in San Antonio, Texas, is a premier shotgun sport event, scheduled for October 17-25, 2026. Since 1989, this prestigious competition has grown into one of the largest of its kind, hosting over 2,500 shooters in 2025, including top Krieghoff shooters. The Main Event, a 300-target contest, draws nearly 2,000 entries, while side events like the Krieghoff K-Kup is the single largest 100 target event in the country, with over 1,900 participants. Held on 696 acres, the event features diverse courses, a Hall of Fame induction, and vendor rows, blending competition with camaraderie.
